Giuseppe has 30 plus years of experience in the oil and gas sector. He has a Degree in Geology from the University of Parma (Italy) and an MBA from Robert Gordon University of Aberdeen (UK). He Joined Eni Upstream in 1988 as Geophysicist and moved from R&D to Geophyscial Services, and then to Exploration & Production working on different areas of the world.

Giuseppe is presently Managing Director of Eni Ghana, after spending 3 years at the Eni Headquarter in Milano (Italy) as Executive Vice President Geology & Geophysics for Eni SpA managing the Well & Seismic Operations, Services and Integrated Studies worldwide. He was previously assigned to Moscow as Chief Representative Office of Eni SpA in the Russian Federation, and General Manager of Eni’s local branch. Formerly, he had spent few years as President of Eni Oil do Brazil in Rio De Janeiro (Brazil) coming from a long experience in the USA as Senior Vice President Exploration of Eni US affiliate for E&P based in Houston (Texas) dealing with Gulf Mexico Deepwater, Alaska and onshore Unconventional Resources.

Lina Sowah is the Deputy Operations Manager for Tullow Ghana Limited, in charge of in-year production forecasting, well and reservoir management for Jubilee and TEN, Subsea Operations and Integrated Planning. Since joining Tullow in 2009, Lina has worked in various roles in Exploration, Subsurface Development, Well Delivery, Well and Reservoir Management and Operations.

Prior to joining Tullow, Lina worked as a Licenced Professional Geologist with an Environmental and Civil Engineering firm in the USA. Her primary role was management of onsite contaminant remediation projects and regulatory reporting.

Lina received her undergraduate degree in Geology from the University of Ghana and a PhD in Geochemistry from the University of Georgia, USA.

Ing. Dr. Bright Sogbey, born on August 18th, 1977, is a Nuclear and Materials Engineer with extensive skills in Construction Engineering Materials Design and Development including Radiation Shielding Capability of Concretes as well as Biodegradable Polymeric Materials Development and Metallurgy. His interest and objective is to specifically support STEM/TVET in Africa with research and advocacy in various aspects of materials and nuclear/renewable energy, engineering materials quality control, assurance and selection (ISO9001, ISO9000 Standards), roads and building construction materials standards, corrosion control, industrial production and manufacturing, materials design, development, processing, testing and inspection, project appraisal and management, engineering economy and a wide range of technical training experience and development.

Ing. Dr. Sogbey is an astute scholar. He holds a PhD in Materials Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi-Ghana; and MPhil in Nuclear Engineering from University of Ghana. He obtained BSc Hon. in Materials Engineering from KNUST as well. Dr. Sogbey went through the Technical System of Education at his pre-tertiary level in Ghana, which include St. Paul Technical School, Kukuratumi, Ghanaian-German Technical Training Center & Royal Technical College. He has over twenty academic research publications to his credit and also presented papers on various scientific, mathematics and socio-economic related issues locally and internationally.

In December 2012 (Khartoum, Sudan) Ing. Dr. Bright Sogbey was awarded UNESCO most outstanding International Business Project Proposal Award by International Science, Technology and Innovation Centre (ISTIC) for South-South Cooperation; In 2011, he was among the Top Fifty Brightest Graduates Worldwide to be honoured by International Union of Materials Research (IUMR); In October, 2007 he was also awarded the Mondialogo Engineering Award (International Research Team Award), Germany; DaimlerChrysler & UNESCO Initiative.

Ing. Dr. Bright Sogbey is President: Science & Technology Advocacy Renaissance for Africa (STARFA) and an Alumnus of International Science, Technology and Innovation Centre (ISTIC) for South-South Cooperation, member of Ghana Institution of Engineers (GhIE), Research Scientist Association (RSA) of Ghana Atomic Energy Commission, Ghana Nuclear Society (GNS), Materials Research Society of Ghana, Materials Research Society (MRS) of the United State of America and also American Society for Testing of Materials (ASTM) among others. He has participated in various international capacity building and training workshops, seminars and conferences. He is Chairman; Governing Council of TVET Africa. Ing. Dr. Sogbey also chairs a Committee on Industry, Science and Technology of Volta Development Forum, Ghana. He was a member, National Committees (Assessment and Policy) on the proposed establishment of Ghana Institution of Welding under the auspices of the Petroleum Commission & Ghana Institution of Engineering. He is also President and Fellow, African Centre for Economic and Social Justice (ACESJ).

Currently at Ghana Atomic Energy Commission (GAEC), Ing. Dr. Sogbey is directly in charge of the Non-destructive Evaluation Services (NDES) via Industrial Solutions Consultancy Group (INDUSOL) as its Chairperson, the main income generating outfit of the National Nuclear Research Institute (NNRI), GAEC; the unit renders Non Destructive Test (NDT) inspection services to local and international companies. He is a Senior Lecturer at the Graduate School of Nuclear & Allied Sciences, University of Ghana; Nuclear & Agricultural Engineering Departments.

Ing. Dr. Bright J. A. Y. Sogbey is a Ghanaian from Kpota-Avenorpeme in the Akatsi South District of Volta Region.

Ms. Adwoa Aaba Arthur is a Principal Investment Promotion Officer at the Legal Division of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre.  Ms. Arthur holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and English from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in the USA; a Juris Doctorate (J.D) Law Degree from the Michigan State University College of Law, East Lansing in the USA; and a Qualifying Certificate in Law from the Ghana School of Law. She is a member of the New Jersey Bar Association and the Ghana Bar Association.

Ms. Arthur has over 18 years experience as a lawyer. She began her career in 2003 as a judicial law clerk with the First Judicial District on Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, USA. She then worked as a Contract Attorney and Document Review Analyst in Washington, DC. In Ghana, she has experience in the banking industry, telecommunication

Mr. Kenneth Owusu is a Senior Policy Analyst in development policy management. He has extensive knowledge in diverse fields including Development Planning, International Development and Financial Coordination, Public Policy Management, Public Financial Management, Private Sector Development, Agriculture Development, Power Sector, Oil and Gas Management with a focus on Local Content Regulation, Fiscal Decentralization and Monitoring and Evaluation of Development Policies, Programmes and Projects. He holds Master’s degree in International Development, and until recent was the Senior Technical Advisor to the Director-General of the National Development Planning Commission.

He has been instrumental in the formulation of at least three national development policy frameworks. He has coordinated the preparation of three national development vision documents for three successive Presidents and participated in several Government of Ghana (GoG)-Development Partners (DPs) policy dialogues, including the Annual IMF/ World Bank Spring Meetings in Washington DC , the Multi-Donor Budgetary Support (MDBS) mechanism, and the Consultative Group (CG) meetings.

Gabriel Amoh holds a bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering and a master’s degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from the Regional Maritime University and University of Central Lancashire respectively. He has over 10 years’ experience in management; procurement and supply chain, operations, commercial and contract, across the services industry as well as the Oil and Gas industry (downstream and upstream). He drives business performance through establishing and maintaining high standards in business operations and through the development of effective and efficient strategies and systems, and through compliance.

He is currently the Commercial Manager of JILMEC Company limited; JV partner to MODEC; supporting the operation and maintenance of the FPSO Kwame Nkrumah and Prof. Evans Atta Mills. Gabriel has been instrumental in the development of the knowledge Transfer Plan, and the implementation of same for the MODEC Production Services Ghana.
