Douglas Zormelo is an experienced management and development expert who has worked in both the private and public sectors and in academia. He has worked in the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Ghana, and the ECOWAS region. He has also worked with leading research and consultancy firms including the Overseas Development Institute, Price Waterhouse and KPMG and taught at the London School of Economics, University of Ghana and University of Denver.

He has consulted for various international organisations including the World Bank, the United Nations, the South African Development Community and the Economic Community of West African States. At ECOWAS he was, for eight years, the Project Director who developed course materials and coordinated the training of government officials including parliamentarians and Trade Ministers, the private sector, and social groups in Negotiations in the Multilateral Trading System.

He holds a PhD from the London School of Economics and Political Science, an MA from the University of Salford and a BA (Hons) from the University of Ghana.
