About The Conference
In accordance with its mandate to promote local content and local participation in the upstream petroleum industry, the Petroleum Commission is organising the 2021edition of Local Content Conference.
The Commission over the years has used its Annual Local Content Conference as a platform for stakeholders and players in the upstream petroleum industry to network and deliberate on critical issues affecting the industry and deepen local content development. Due to the prevalence of Covid-19, this year’s event which is also the 7th edition, will be held virtually. The focus of this year’s conference is on Technology and Skill Transfers in the Ghana’s Upstream Oil & Gas Industry.
The 2021 LCCE will be graced by Hon. Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, Minister for Energy; Hon. Kwabena Okyere Darko Mensah, Western Regional Minister; Egbert Faibille Jnr, CEO of Petroleum Commission; Kwaku Boateng, Director Local Content of Petroleum Commission; C-level delegates; Experts and Captains of Industry, etc.
This year’s event is themed “Optimising Technology Transfer in Ghana’s Upstream Petroleum Industry”.
